An architectural gem
The Victoriahöfe in Berlin-Kreuzberg are among the capital’s most outstanding revitalization projects. Under the direction of GBP Architekten, what was once the world’s largest administrative building was modernized in accordance with preservation guidelines and repurposed for contemporary use. Special attention was paid to the attic: the magnificent Neo-Baroque building from 1913 regained its characteristic decorative gables—reinterpreted in a contemporary design language and clad with RHEINZINK-prePATINA ECO ZINC in blue-gray.
