*Other sizes available upon request

  • Attach gutter with specially manufactured bracket
  • Alternative: RHEINZINK-Snap-Lock Bracket system
  • Individual gutter lengths connected by soft soldering

  • Fixing rainwater downpipes with downpipe brackets
  • Alternative: RHEINZINK-Universal Downpipe Bracket for round downpipes of all nominal sizes

Gutters are fastened with brackets especially produced for this purpose (as per DIN EN 1462). They are either attached to the fascia board, sheathing, rafters (sideways if necessary) or to the wall.  Brackets must be sufficiently dimensioned to comply with local requirements.

The RHEINZINK-Snap-Lock Bracket System is an innovation in terms of conventional fixing: Fast installation of a snap-lock fixing rail means you no longer have any bother with cutting off gutter brackets.

Downpipes are generally attached using conventional downspout brackets in the framework.  For pipes with a nominal size > 4", bracket spacing is 6'-5" max. and for pipes with a nominal size ≤ 4" it is 10' max.  The minimum distance between the waste stack and the building should be 3/4".

For further information about attaching, positioning and cross-sections of gutter brackets as well as the positioning of expansion elements please see the brochure "Standing Seam Technology - Design & Application" under 'Downloads'.
